GLOBAL TALENT AND NEW AMERICAN SERVICE PROVIDERS

What it is: A regional initiative to attract and retain foreign-born people. The goal is to maintain St. Louis’ No. 1 ranking as the fastest-growing major metro for immigration by 2030 and drive initiatives that expand and retain a global talent pool as one of the cornerstones of the region's economic and cultural growth.

SLATE Missouri Job Center

What it is: A function of the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment, the program provides career services and training programs to people who are minorities, women, under-employed or long-term unemployed.

OFFICE OF NEW AMERICANS, CITY OF ST. LOUIS
Address: 1200 Market Street, St. Louis
What it is: The Office of New Americans is a hub facilitating the intersection of city services, governmental agencies, nonprofit entities, private sector organizations, and the New American communities. Its purpose and focus are to drive a seamless integration and unwavering inclusion of immigrants and refugees, and to let them know they are welcome in the city of St. Louis. The Office of New Americans also serves as the soundboard for city services geared towards encouraging engagement and participation and providing services to embrace diversity and the inclusion of New Americans to enhance their experience of residing in our city.

CAPS EMPOWER PROGRAM AT WASH U
Address: 1 Brookings Drive, St. Louis
What it is: The Continuing & Professional Studies (CAPS) English Language Programs (ELP) Empower Program is designed to increase opportunities for St. Louis-area immigrants and refugees through language skills and valuable professional certifications. The free 26-week program combined English language development with workforce certifications.

INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SAINT LOUIS
Address: 3401 Arsenal St., St. Louis
What it is: The International Institute of St. Louis provides economic and cultural integration services, including English classes, employment, orientation, and citizenship preparation to immigrants and refugees arriving in St. Louis.

CAASTLC IMMIGRANT INCLUSION PROGRAM

What it is: The Immigrant Inclusion Program at Community Action Agency of St. Louis County offers employment development services, immigrant case management, housing, food and energy assistance.
