The St. Louis Mosaic Project was launched in 2012 in response to an economic impact report, outlining St. Louis to be lagging in immigrant growth as well as highlighting the economic benefits of increasing its foreign-born population. The Mosaic Project is a regional initiative that is professionally managed by the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, World Trade Center-St. Louis and a 32-member Steering Committee.

Our goals

Mosaic Project goal is to maintain St. Louis as the fastest growing major metropolitan area for immigration by 2030; to drive initiatives to expand and retain our global talent pool as a cornerstone of the region's economic and cultural growth.

Engage business leaders to hire more international talent

Attract and support international students for earlier and deeper integration into the St. Louis community.

Dispel myths about immigration and reinforce a community culture of inclusion and welcoming.

Engage local and federal government leaders to reduce barriers for foreign workers and their families.
