Save A Lot concept targeting Hispanic shoppers adds 2nd St. Louis-area store

ST. LOUIS — Save A Lot, the St. Ann-based discount grocery business, and its licensee Leevers Supermarkets are opening a second St. Louis-area location of a grocery concept targeting the Hispanic community.

Save A Lot y Mas at 3427 S. Jefferson Ave. in the city's Gravois Park neighborhood will hold a grand opening Wednesday beginning at 8 a.m. , and the store will be open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, according to a Monday news release.

The first St. Louis-area Save A Lot y Mas store, at 9430 Midland Blvd. in Overland, opened in July 2025. Castle Rock, Colorado-based Leevers owns the buildings holding both Save A Lot y Mas locations, which formerly were traditional Save A Lot locations.

The Save A Lot y Mas concept builds on Save A Lot's core concept, but offers an expanded lineup of fresh Hispanic produce, specialty meats and bakery items "designed to deliver both cultural relevance and everyday value," officials said.
