Betsy Cohen will step down after 12 years in role
The World Trade Center St. Louis (WTC) of the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership) announced February 26th that Betsy Cohen will step down from her role with the St. Louis Mosaic Project in the coming weeks, and Suzanne Sierra will be promoted to Executive Director, effective March 17, 2025.
“I want to thank Betsy for her 12 years of Mosaic leadership and her incredible contributions and successes,” said Tim Nowak, executive director of WTC. “This important work is in good hands as we move forward with Suzanne Sierra at the helm. Suzanne has been an excellent leader for the community in developing and executing new programs to attract and retain international talent.”
In her role as Assistant Director, Sierra led university partnerships and the Mosaic Ambassador Company program. She is in the process of launching a new International Student Summer Internship Challenge with top talent working with regional companies. She works with the International Mentor St. Louis Program and the International Spouses/Expat Women’s Group. She is on the board of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and St. Louis County’s 2050 Steering Committee and collaborates closely with the St. Louis Mayor’s Office of New Americans.
