St. Louis organization pivots programs to attract immigrants amid federal cuts

ST. LOUIS — The International Institute of St. Louis has changed course to attract new people to the St. Louis region.

This is after the federal government made cuts to immigration programs and created executive orders impacting those programs.

"This is a community that has lost population over the course of many decades," said Blake Hamilton, the President and CEO of the International Institute. "It is really a regional imperative to regrow the region." Read more
