Refugees building lives, revitalizing U.S. cities | Opinion

Almost daily, headlines point to the plight of refugees trying to escape military conflicts, famine, entrenched poverty and political upheavals around the world. Desperately seeking places to resettle, hundreds of thousands look for hope in new lands. Given our nation's ideals, values, history and involvement on the world stage, we have a moral obligation to open our doors to them.
