‘Africa Rising’ showcased at Ritz-Carlton

CLAYTON, Mo. – On Wednesday, the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton transformed into an African celebration, with traditional music and dancing.

The St. Louis Economic Development hosted its annual global luncheon, and this year’s theme focused on “Africa Rising,” navigating markets, investments and trade.

The continent of Africa is expected to grow in the next 25 years, doubling its population by 2.5 billion people. Business leaders in St. Louis views Africa as a future trading partner that can benefit both parties. Read more.
