About the event

Moderated by Carol Daniel, this panel offers a practical, community-informed conversation on immigration in the St. Louis region—who our immigrant neighbors are, how they arrive and settle, and what supports make stability and belonging possible. Drawing on the expertise of local practitioners, panelists will explore the lived realities of foreign-born communities and the systems that shape access to needs like employment, language learning, housing, education, and healthcare. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how communities and individuals can provide meaningful care, build trust, and responsibly engage in community organizing and advocacy in response to current enforcement activity. The session emphasizes informed action, shared responsibility, and concrete ways to support immigrant neighbors with dignity and care.
