2025 KindMe Refugee Welcome Week Event (Sept 13, 2025)

Kindness Begins with Me will be celebrating 2025 Refugee Welcome Week with a community event in Francis Park on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Join us for a day of fun including a pickleball tournament, a cricket exhibition, a world market, fun raffles, and food and beverage at Rockwell Beer Garden!

PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT SIGN UP INFORMATION: Advanced Pickleball Tournament: 9-11am. This is a single-elimination tournament for advanced pickleball players! Tournament entry is $80 for a 2-person team. The winners of the Advanced Tournament will receive the following prizes: 1st Place: $100 2nd Place: $75 3rd Place: $50 Beginner/Intermediate Pickleball Pods: 9:45am-1pm. Players competing in this tournament will compete with 3 other teams of their skill level! You will have the chance to play 3 games and the winner of the pod will receive a fun prize basket! Entry is $80 for a 2-person team.
