The St. Louis Mosaic Project, an initiative of the World Trade Center-St. Louis, is focused on attracting and welcoming foreign-born professionals to the region. Part of the welcoming strategy includes connecting international students graduating with a degree in STEM from St. Louis University, Washington University, Webster, UMSL , SIUE or one of our other area universities to companies that seek globally-minded, diverse employees. There are now 22 additional STEM majors that pave the way for international students in those fields to work under their student visa for three years (OPT-STEM) to support a business's operational goals and growth. THERE IS NO COST OR VISA LEGAL WORK NEEDED FOR THE EMPLOYER IN THIS SITUATION. The Student’s University International Office Handles the Paperwork.

Please join us for a panel discussion about how to hire international STEM graduates as part of their Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Panelists:

Nalini Mahadevan, Principal Attorney, MLO Law LLC

Angela Batnasan, former international student, AVP Business Banking, Enterprise Bank & Trust

Emily Weber, Director, Business Banking, Enterprise Bank & Trust

Moderated by Suzanne Sierra, Senior Program Manager, St. Louis Mosaic Project

Continental breakfast with coffee, tea and juice will be provided.
