Global Talent, Local Impact

Get ready to be inspired! The St. Louis region is buzzing with 10,000 international students from all corners of the globe, and approximately 5,000 of them are diving into STEM degrees, eager to gain valuable work experience in a U.S. company. These bright minds are ready to bring their skills and fresh perspectives to your team from day one! Plus, did you know you can hire these talented students as interns at no Visa cost and without any sponsorship?

Integrating international STEM students into an internship program is simple and will yield amazing benefits. Read on to join our International Hiring Challenge!

The challenge

10 businesses from the City and 10 businesses from the County hire global talent across the board for fulltime, limited-time projects or internships for students.

International students are positioned as an important starting point for companies that have never hired international talent. The international student your company hires remains on their F1 student Visa for the summer. There is no legal paperwork or sponsorship/cost for the hiring organization beyond a one-page job agreement signed off by the student’s university.

New this year: a complimentary Employer Toolkit for Hiring, to help de-mystify the process.
