40 Under 40 awards recipient Alejandra Berra from Commerce Bank mentions why attracting and retaining talented workforce is key for our region to grow and why it is the reason why she supports organiz

Alejandra Berra, lead strategy analyst for digital assets and cryptocurrencies, joined Commerce Bank in 2009. Since then, she has expanded her portfolio and kept pace with fiscal innovation.

In 2016, she was promoted to portfolio manager, which included responsibility for more than 200 client relationships and $75 million in assets. In 2021, she moved to the Office of Strategic Planning and Innovation, leading the bank’s effort to understand the role of cryptocurrency and its impact on traditional finance.
