Ursuline Academy becomes the 70th Mosaic Ambassador School

Ursuline Academy has become the 70th Mosaic Ambassador School. The St. Louis Mosaic Project Ambassador School program encourages member schools to reinforce an internationally welcoming and inclusive culture through pledges unique to each school. Ursuline Academy is a Catholic college prep high school that is committed to preparing young women to be global leaders of tomorrow.

Ursuline Schools network consists of more than 150 sister school connections all over the world including Australia, Brazil, England, France, Indonesia, and South Africa. Students at Ursuline Academy learn global citizenship and have the opportunity to participate in educational and cultural exchanges with sister schools worldwide. Through the Ursuline Global Scholars Program, students who engage in globally focused curricular studies and activities could receive a certificate that sets them apart in the international arena.

As a Mosaic Ambassador School, Ursuline Academy’s commitment to build a more internationally welcoming region will reach a broader audience and enhance the regional narrative of supporting and championing and embracing our foreign-born families.

About the St. Louis Mosaic Project

The St. Louis Mosaic Project was launched in 2012 in response to an economic impact report, outlining St. Louis to be lagging in immigrant growth as well as highlighting the economic benefits of increasing its foreign-born population. The Mosaic Project is a regional initiative that is professionally managed by St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, World Trade Center St. Louis and a 32-member committee. Its goal is to transform St. Louis into the fastest growing major metropolitan area for immigration by 2025, to add 25,000 more foreign born to the region from 2016-2025 and to promote regional prosperity through immigration and innovation.
