Longtime St. Louis journalist Charlie Brennan in conversation with Min Jung Kim, the South Korean-born Barbara B. Taylor Director of the Saint Louis Art Museum about her journey to the U.S. as an international student, her path to becoming the first woman to lead the St. Louis Art Museum, and what it means to build a life and sense of belonging in a new place.
This year's Welcoming Week theme, "Stories We Share. The Courage to Connect.," celebrates the connections that strengthen our communities. Launched by Welcoming America in 2012, Welcoming Week is an annual campaign that brings people together across the country to celebrate the values of belonging and welcome, including for immigrants and newcomers.
