Food Heritage

As people from different cultural backgrounds move into a region, they bring with them their folkways, beliefs, and food. In recent years, St. Louis has seen an explosion of new cuisines and restaurants, many of which were started by immigrants and have become part of the fabric of our community. Join us for three tasty programs that explore the influence of immigration on our local food scene.

The event starts with guests purchasing a variety of ethic foods from a selection of food trucks parked on the Museum's front lawn. Thereafter, the St. Louis Mosaic Project will be presenting the Mosaic Immigrant Food Awards as well as share stories of food heritage in St. Louis.
