Your Immigration Stories, Mine and Ours
Many Americans have histories of how and why they came to be in this country. Whether your family is newly arrived or has deep roots in the US, this program is for you.
Through Playback NOW! St. Louis, a project of That Uppity Theatre Company, different immigration and refugee stories will be solicited from the audience and reenacted, honoring the challenges immigrants face and the courage it takes to come to a new country in this interactive performance. This is a highly specialized form of improvisation that is practiced in over 40 countries.
Onsite voter registration with the St. Louis Voter Registration Group and a selfie station will both be available.
