Holi Festival
The first session starts at 10:00 am*
Holi, the Spring Festival of India, welcomes the joy of new beginnings, symbolizes the win of good over evil, and brings people of diverse backgrounds together to celebrate as one community. Celebrate the Festival of Colors with a color-throwing experience and storytime! Children will receive a special Holi t-shirt to wear at a color fun experience in the Museum’s outdoor exhibit patio.
This event will be lead by local artists, Gayathri Seetharaman, whose creations reflect beauty and subtlety of Indian folk art, Pratima Murali, whose art is inspired by Indian folk art and nature and Shilpa Rao whose art work reflects her affinity towards symmetry and patterns inspired by her Indian heritage.
