Japchae is made with sweet potato starch noodles and a variety of vegetables and meat.  Learn from Bomi Park of the St. Louis Mosaic Project about the traditional Korean dish. This dish is gluten-free and could easily be made as a vegan dish. Don’t miss out on the chance to ask any Korean food questions!

If you've always wanted to learn a few simple sentences in different languages, this is your chance! Learn how to say hello, thank you, and maybe a few 'ready-to-travel' sentences in Korean, Spanish, and Arabic. Get culture tips on how to be friendly with the locals. This session is planned by the St. Louis Mosaic Project​ and the International Institute of St. Louis.

Spanish Cooking Demonstration with Inigo Gondra from The Croquetterie
Learn to make Gazpacho, sold at Festival of Nations as Cold Tomato Bisque that is drinkable; and Salmorejo, similar to gazpacho but to eat with a spoon.

Choro Guys
Brazilian instrumental music, Choro being a style of music native of Brazil.

Korean Cooking Class (password is Mosaic072820!) – Bomi Park, Assistant Project Manager at St. Louis Mosaic Project, demonstrates how to make bulgogi. Bulgogi, literally “fire meat”, marinated slices of beef or pork grilled on a barbecue or on a stove-top griddle. It is also often stir-fried in a pan in home cooking. Sirloin, rib eye or brisket are frequently used cuts of beef for the dish. Bulgogi recipe.
