Parkway School District Action Items:
- Offer programs that reflect their welcome and appreciation for international families
- Provide culturally diverse courses
- Have diverse selection of books that are about many different cultures and also in different languages
- Have staff representations in Diversity in Action committee(internal) Global Competencies District Cohort (external)
- Partner with organizations like the St. Louis County Library and the International Institute of St. Louis to widen their international education outside the classroom
- Offer student exchange student programs and service learning projects
- Distribute resources for international families
