This past Friday, May 1st 2015 at the World Trade center St Louis; The St Louis Mosaic Project introduced its new Immigrant Entrepreneurship Advisory Board as part of their plan to make St. Louis the “fastest growing U.S. metropolitan area for immigration by 2020” – a unique goal that is part of an initiative that sparked from a 2012 economic impact report.

Their guest Maria Contreras-Sweet, administrator of the Small Business Association (SBA) since 2014 and ambassador of equality and diversity for small business and business opportunities presented the members of the board as part of the event’s agenda, which concluded in a question/answer panel of discussion- an opportunity for entrepreneurs to share their experiences and knowledge on innovation and sustainability.
