St. Louis Mosaic Project Launches 52 Weeks of Art
The St. Louis Mosaic Project is launching a new initiative in 2016 called 52 Weeks of Art, which focuses on building a welcoming and inclusive community through a diverse cultural experience as well as promoting cross-cultural interest while showcasing the best aspects of St. Louis. Among the many events happening soon, there are three upcoming events that are truly worth attending.
Two of these events are part of the Lunar New Year Celebration bringing the St. Louis community to experience this significant Chinese tradition. As part of the commemorations the St. Louis Classical Guitar Society brings one of the most extraordinary instrumentalists in the world, the Chinese classical guitarist Xuefei Yang to perform at The Ethical Society this Saturday 13th of February 2016 at 8:00 p.m. Ms. Yang was the first-ever guitarist in China to enter Beijing’s Central Conservatory of Music and in recognition of her distinguished career, she was awarded a Fellowship of the London Royal Academy of Music.
